DF is a little utility that'll tell you how many bytes have been
used, and how many are still free on any given drive. The syntax is:
DF [DRIVE:]
If you don't specify a drive, it will automatically get the disk
usage for the current drive. You can specify the drive by either
volume name or device name. Some examples:
df
df df0:
df ram:
df work:
The nice thing about DF is that it is extremely compact (try doing
this with lattice or manx :-) and does not require any external
libraries, (in particular the arp.library).
This program is so bloody small and took so little time to write that
I feel embarrassed to ask for a shareware contribution, so I hereby
declare it public domain. Yes, you read right...PUBLIC DOMAIN! Scary
stuff eh?
STANDARD DISCLAIMER:
If this program screws you up in any way, that's YOUR problem!
Please include this documentation with DF when you upload anywhere.
Wow! This doc file is 3 times as large as the actual executable. I've
got to stop writing such huge doc files from now on...
